The Origin Story
In the 1990s, the Nanuet Mall project marked the beginning of what would become O’Kane Enterprises. Originally opened in 1969 with anchors like Bamberger’s and Sears, the mall had been a retail hub in Rockland County, New York. By the mid-1990s, the mall needed a significant renovation to stay relevant.
Dan O’Kane took on this crucial project as the construction lead. The renovation involved expanding the mall with a new wing and updating numerous stores. Dan’s expertise was key in accommodating the specific needs of a variety of retailers, ensuring each store’s unique requirements were met with precision.
Under Dan’s guidance, our team meticulously managed every detail of the renovation, ensuring the project met and exceeded expectations. The success of the Nanuet Mall project highlighted our commitment to quality and innovative solutions, setting the foundation for O’Kane Enterprises’ future.
